Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Chrysnest, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Eligibility

To use Chrysnest, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a resident of Canada
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account PIN
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate profile information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

When using Chrysnest, you agree NOT to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Send spam, solicitations, or unwanted messages
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Use the service for illegal activities
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Interfere with the service's operation
  • Use automated systems to access the service

Content Guidelines

You are responsible for the content you post. Content must not:

  • Contain hate speech, discrimination, or threats
  • Include explicit sexual content
  • Promote violence or self-harm
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Contain personal information of others without consent

Reporting and Blocking

Chrysnest provides tools to report and block users who violate these terms. Reports may include:

  • Harassment
  • Inappropriate content
  • Spam
  • Safety concerns
  • Other violations

We take all reports seriously and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our terms.

Safety Disclaimer

While Chrysnest is designed with safety features, we cannot guarantee the behavior of other users. We encourage you to:

  • Take your time getting to know potential roommates
  • Meet in public places first
  • Trust your instincts
  • Use our crisis resources if you feel unsafe

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion:

  • Your profile will be immediately hidden from other users
  • You have 30 days to recover your account
  • After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted

Intellectual Property

Chrysnest and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Chrysnest and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

Chrysnest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.
